It’s hard to believe, but less than a year after we launched SUGTalks, we are now entering our fifth season! With that in mind, we wanted to share a few teasers about what is coming up and what you can expect in the coming weeks.
Exploring key industry issues
To start off the series, we discuss mental health with Simon Nichols, Founder and Wellbeing Director at Thrive, who joins us to talk about mindfulness and how to find your wellbeing focus. Simon also shares a sneak preview into what Thrive will be doing at UKISUG Connect later this month.
In addition to mental health we are also covering some other big topics this season, including sustainability within the SAP community. Craig will be joined by Lindsey Rowe from SAP to highlight the initiatives the company is focussing on. If this sounds of interest you may also want to check out our recent Climate 2021 blog.
We will also be discussing Women in SAP this season. Fiona Warburg from Welsh Water and Emma Chambers from NATS will be joining us to discuss the recent Women in SAP coffee session – coveringimportant topics such as the lack of women in the tech sector and what can be done to address it.
Senior IT Interview
This season, we are also excited to launch the first in a series of interviews with senior IT leaders to hear about their careers and tips for getting ahead in the industry. We are kicking this off with Vincent Petit, ERP & Finance System IT Director at Inchcape, who you’ll be able to hear from later in the season and who shares some of his experiences since becoming part of the SAP community.
Last, but most certainly not least, later this month we will be recording several podcasts at UKISUG Connect, so be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss those!
