Following the success of our Photography Competition last year we have decided to run it again. Earlier this month the hunt for 12 photographs to grace our 2020 calendar was launched. Gartner Research: Best Practices for Accelerating ERP Time To Benefit

When you hear the words “ERP implementation”, you probably picture a long, arduous, and stressful process fraught with risks and downtime. This is especially true if the implementation requires a significant change in current business processes and lots of training for those who will be accessing the new system, such as the finance and IT departments.

But, it doesn’t have to be this way. Based on numerous interactions with clients, Gartner has identified a set of best practices for accelerating ERP adoption, which it shares in this latest research:

 

• The right time to train new users
• Organising a roving support team to answer questions in the early stages
• Getting employees on board by explaining how the new system benefits them individually as well as how it benefits the organisation as a whole
• The importance of clear, consistent communication across meeting, status updates and company-wide communications

Event Attendance Reminder

We would like to remind you about our "no-show fee" of £150 (+vat if applicable). This was something we introduced back in 2017 to help reduce the number of people simply not turning up at events, which as you will appreciate can have a significant impact on both the session itself and the hosts.

 

This charge will be made in the event of non-attendance, unless:

• We have been notified no later than 12 hours prior to the Event being held that you will not be attending; or
• You have transferred your place to another person, provided that they are covered by your membership, and we are notified prior to the event being held

The only way we can offer this amazing discount is by securing 300 licences from across our membership. We have run these campaigns numerous times previously, and thanks to the power of our user community we have managed to surpass the 300 licence target every time!

Although the cost of licences purchased directly from SAP has had an 18% increase from 2018 to 2019, we have decided to absorb some of the impact from this price increase.
