This session explores how the organisation approached ERP transformation by focusing on its operating model rather than simply replacing systems. With divisions running different ERP landscapes, Georg Fischer faced fragmented processes, unclear ownership and limited visibility of how processes, applications and business capabilities connected.
Using a process-first approach supported by SAP Signavio and SAP LeanIX, the team mapped business processes, aligned roles and responsibilities and gained a clear view of their application and integration landscape. The result was a practical operating model blueprint that provided stronger governance, clearer ownership and a foundation for successful transformation.
Attendees will learn why process and organisational design should lead ERP programmes, how SAP Signavio and SAP LeanIX work together to provide an end-to-end view of the business and practical lessons for assessing and governing their own transformation initiatives.
