This session launches the latest UKISUG x Syniti Data Survey findings, revealing how organisations across the UK and Ireland are putting data management first to support complex transformation programmes. Building on last year’s research, this year’s survey introduces a refined focus, moving away from standalone analytics to concentrate on the core data capabilities that underpin AI success and S/4HANA outcomes — including data quality, governance, migration, archiving and historical data management.

Drawing on responses from IT, data and business leaders, the session examines where organisations are making progress and where challenges persist. It explores how responsibility for data is evolving, how confident organisations really are in the quality and accessibility of their data and the extent to which data issues are slowing S/4HANA migrations and AI initiatives.
