Libby is a Partner and Head of Public Sector for Deloitte UK’s Enterprise Technology & Performance practice, where she is focused on delivering technology enabled change. She has 20+ years of experience supporting effective financial management in the public sector.
Over the past decade Libby has supported Departments in Whitehall, organisations in Local Government, Higher Education, Health, Transport and Policing to optimise and modernise ways of working. She relocated to the UK in 2014, with her Husband and three daughters, taking on the role of Financial Controller at the Home Office before moving into Professional Services. She started her career in the Canadian Government where she trained as an accountant earning her CMA/CPA and her CIPFA qualifications in her 13 years at Border Services Agency.
As a finance leader Libby worked across all aspects of Finance from finance transformation and cost optimisation, financial accounting, finance systems, business partnering and finance operations. Libby is active in the public sector finance community, supporting the GFF in their CFO Development Programme and through her role on CIPFA Council.
