Are you ready for the UKISUG BTP Symposium?
Launched in January 2021, SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) serves as SAP’s platform for cloud applications and innovation for its customers and partners. It combines cloud capabilities for application development and automation, data and analytics, integration and artificial intelligence (AI) within a unified environment.
According to the latest UKISUG research, 92% of SAP user organisations are either already using (42%) or planning to use (50%) SAP BTP. However, given the wide range of services and capabilities SAP BTP provides, it is perhaps unsurprising that only 19% of organisations report a high level of understanding of what SAP BTP can enable.
As enterprise software increasingly transitions to the cloud, SAP BTP has become a pivotal element of SAP’s innovation strategy, delivering the integration, data analytics and AI capabilities customers require. Furthermore, as more organisations embark on their S/4HANA and RISE journeys, understanding both the technological and commercial aspects of SAP BTP is crucial.
To support our members on their SAP BTP journey, we are delighted to announce our SAP BTP Symposium, taking place on 26th June at Croke Park, Dublin. The day will feature presentations from SAP experts, hands-on workshops and opportunities to connect with other SAP professionals. It’s a great chance to explore new ideas, ask questions and learn how others are approaching SAP BTP within their organisations.
Ahead of the Symposium, we will be releasing a new SAP BTP Whitepaper, offering insights, anecdotes and learnings to assist organisations evaluating or planning to use SAP BTP. Additionally, on 5th June, a new BTP-themed episode of SUGTalks will feature a discussion with Steffen Schad, Head of Outbound PM, SAP BTP, SAP SE. Watch this space for further details!
