The Board of Directors consists of UKISUG volunteers and are responsible for the Governance of the User Group. The Board work closely with our Chief Executive to set the strategy and direction of UKISUG.
Paul has more than 20 years’ experience working with and managing SAP solutions. Currently Paul is the Head of Information Systems and a member of the Management Board at Burton’s Biscuit Company. Prior to joining Burton's Paul worked for an SAP consultancy and was the Business Systems Director at Northern Foods. He has been an active member of the User Group for over 10 years co-Chairing the ALM Special Interest Group and joined the Board in 2011, in 2017 Paul was appointed Chair of UKISUG.
Philip is Head of IT at Mercury Engineering, responsible for the full IT portfolio and strategy across the Mercury Group. Philip managed the successful implementation and deployment of SAP in Mercury and his role takes responsibility for supporting and directing the future use of SAP in Mercury. Prior to joining Mercury, Philip worked for Accenture on projects spanning public sector and financial services. Philip became a Director of the UK & Ireland SAP User Group in 2010, served as Chairman from 2013 -2017, and is SIG Chair for Ireland SIG
Brian has been involved in SAP in both an IT Auditing and Security capacity since 2005. He has 21+ years’ experience as an IT Auditor across different sectors. He is currently involved in the security and monitoring of Tata Steels SAP installations across UK and Europe. Brian has recently accepted a role on the SAP UK & Ireland SAP User Group board of directors and is looking forward to the new challenges this brings.
Tim Guest is a director at Zoedale Plc, a wholesale distribution organisation who use SAP Business One. Tim is an active member of the SAP community and is one of the SAP mentors with a focus on the SME market place.
Cheryl has over 13 years experience implementing, developing and supporting SAP. She is currently Head of Business Service Centre at Gloucestershire County Council where she is responsible for numerous back office services including payroll, AR and AP and of course SAP. Cheryl has co-chaired the Public Sector special interest group for over 7 years and was delighted to be appointed a Director of UKISUG in 2020.
Having over 40 years experience in the Chemical Industry in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, with SABIC UK Petrochemicals, Mike has been an implementer and Business Process owner of Plant Maintenance and Project Systems processes in SAP for the past 20 years. Having been a supporter of the user group for a large part of that time, he was the Maintenance and Service Management SIG Chair from 2010 to 2017 and was appointed to the Board in 2016.
Conor is Global Director, Digital Finance Optimisation at Pfizer with a focus on Business Process Improvement and Value Realisation using ERP, Analytics and Process Mining. He has over 22 years’ experience working with SAP across a number of companies and has managed over 30 implementations in this time. Prior to Pfizer, Conor worked for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Xansa, Elan Pharmaceuticals and National Medical Care. He has been an active member of the User Group since 2010 and is a committee member of the Ireland Special Interest Group.
Fiona has over 17 years’ experience working with SAP systems and nearly 21 years in IT. She is currently the Centre of Excellence Manager at Welsh Water and is responsible for ensuring optimum value is driven from investments in SAP. Prior to that Fiona has worked for EDF, Wales & West Utilities, Hewlett Packard & B&Q on their SAP systems in both technical and managerial roles. She has worked on SAP projects and BAU support giving her a broad first-hand understanding of the challenges that come with running and implementing SAP.
