Security & Control – From Governance Foundations to Maturity

Security and Control is rarely straightforward and the pressure is only growing. Whether you're tackling segregation of duties, role design, cloud security, data governance, identity management or simply trying to understand what comes next on your journey, you're almost certainly not alone.

Facilitated by Security & Control Chairs Dwaipayan Mazumder, Welsh Water and Leanne Kania, Pets at Home, this virtual roundtable is designed as a practical peer-to-peer discussion, not a presentation. Building on themes raised in previous community conversations, this session will explore the journey from governance foundations to Security & Controls maturity.

Discussions are likely to cover topics such as data governance and ownership, embedding controls within S/4HANA, automated monitoring, managing controls across hybrid SAP landscapes, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), audit management and the ongoing challenge of maturing security operations.

A key question that emerged from recent discussions was: "What's next once the foundations are in place?" This roundtable provides an opportunity to explore that question with your peers, share experiences, discuss challenges and learn how others are approaching the next stage of their governance, risk and control programmes.

This is a community conversation at its most valuabl, SAP professionals sharing practical experiences and lessons learned. Dwaipayan and Leanne will guide the discussion to ensure everyone has the opportunity to contribute and leave with actionable insights.
