The HR SIG aims to provide an opportunity for likeminded SAP HCM users to get connected and share their experiences and knowledge gained. It provides an open, collaborative forum for the networking, learning and discussions /exchange of ideas around Human Capital Management.

SIG meetings are the focal point of the group and are typically held three or four times per year. These sessions offer an opportunity to meet a wide range of HR professionals both technical and non-technical with different levels of maturity in SAP HR from various organisations within the UK. These meetings are aimed to add value to the organisations the users represent and helping them gain a leading edge with the use of SAP HR.

A typical meeting would comprise of the following areas.

  • Development Updates from SAP - Information about products, new functionalities in HR Transactional processing. This represents a good opportunity to keep up to speed with the latest developments with the product and interact with subject matter experts from SAP.
  • Open Forum discussions - Over the years this has evolved enabling members to share challenges, ideas and solutions, as well as supporting each other with general queries about the use and configuration of SAP HR.
  • Presentations - Specialist topic presentations from SAP, partners and customers are included on a regular basis.
  • Members also have an opportunity to jointly raise development requests to influence certain SAP functionality. During the meetings, new requests and progress towards the completion of existing requests are also shared with the group where relevant.

    We also intend to use of webinars for brief information, updates on small subject matters with minimal disruption to business working and travel to our members.

    We look forward to your participation and contribution to our group and hope this SIG would provide a platform for your growth in SAP HR.
