Sigma is now benefitting from seamless integration at its Hobart site, as Diane Matheson, Head of Supply Chain Technology at Sigma, explains; “This is the first site that we have not used a third party to integrate our automation equipment with SAP, so having this direct integration has improved efficiencies at Hobart, which has allowed a greater capacity to flow through the process."

The Config Team implemented PreBilt™, powered by Neptune, a configurable mobile solution for the SAP supply chain, to manage stock movements within the facility. Configuring the solution to meet the specific customer needs, PreBilt was deployed to manage a range of processes including goods receipt, putaway, staging for production, picking, packing and loading.

When a leading fragrance manufacturer embarked on a new global Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) project to streamline its manufacturing activities, it turned to The Config Team as a trusted advisor to support the internal team. Having previous positive experiences of The Config Team, through our work delivering our mobility solution, PreBilt, at the UK site, the manufacturer enlisted our support again for this project, to provide an independent review of the landscape.

The Config Team deployed PreBilt for POD as a complete customer delivery mobile solution to help manage Roberts’ last mile processes, fully integrated with SAP, meaning activities were streamlined, and information was received much quicker. The quick and agile platform was able to inform both the driver and the customer of any updates in real-time. Customer relationships were stronger than ever and they were able to be invoiced immediately as opposed to being mailed paper copies.

Looking for a mobility solution to increase warehouse efficiencies, Sunseeker turned to PreBilt™, from The Config Team, due to its direct integration with SAP, as Darren Taylor, Sunseeker SAP Business Support Analyst, explains: “We explored a few solutions, but we were clear we wanted a direct connection to SAP to enable us to have visibility of live data, which is exactly what PreBilt delivers.”

With operatives now able to confirm and verify the stock location in the system as it is put away, the stock is available in SAP immediately.

The Config Team implemented PreBilt for EWM, a mobile solution for the SAP supply chain, to execute SAP EWM transactions on mobile devices within five warehouses across the Netherlands. Configuring the solution to meet the specific customer needs, PreBilt has been deployed to manage a range of processes including goods receipt, picking, physical inventory counting and stock enquiry.

Rather Outdoors benefits from The Config Team’s support covering its SAP EWM processes, ECC, IBP, and roles and security. Operated predominantly through a helpdesk-based system for incidents, service requests, problems, and change requests, support with The Config Team also entails quick and easy access to its full pool of experienced SAP module experts. The Config Team works to US hours to cover Rather Outdoors’ operations, ensuring maximum global coverage.

The Config Team implemented an end-to-end greenfield SAP EWM and ECC solution at the Springfield DC while ensuring that operations continue to run at the existing Tulsa site. Identified as the lead partner, The Config Team oversaw the overall management of the project, which involved leading the interaction with all other vendors, including hosting, SAP ECC, SAP Basis, network, EDI, and hardware partners.

Univar was operating an outdated RF solution, which was running using the SAP GUI, to manage warehouse processes within SAP Warehouse Management (WM) across its four UK sites. The Config Team implemented PreBilt™, a range of out-of-the-box mobile applications for the SAP supply chain, with 50 users across the four UK sites

The Challenge; The root cause of Twinings’ challenges was found to not be hardware, but software. The legacy system was outdated and awkward for everybody to use. The Solution: We deployed PreBilt, our suite of out-of-the-box mobile applications designed to digitise supply chain processes within warehousing, manufacturing and distribution centres, easily configured to Twinings’ requirements working within their pre-existing SAP Warehouse Management (WM) system.

Product recalls were costing this leading drinks manufacturer over £200k a year due to manual processes and human error. The Solution: CodingControl works by connecting production line devices to SAP which enables label templates to be selected, and data fields populated, automatically. This removes the need for any manual data entry during set up and therefore eradicates the risk of human error. The business achieved a return on investment within 3 months.

The UK’s first intelligent automated conveyor system integrated with SAP EWM. Princes run SAP as their core ERP platform and made a decision to implement SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). The key objectives were to become more efficient, reduce costs and reduce the risk of errors and delays – and to significantly cut the use of trucks on site. The cutting edge integration of an automated conveyor system controlled by SAP EWM has revolutionised warehouse operations at Princes.

Dunelm’s existing SAP WM system had already undergone a series of enhancements and was struggling to cope with their complex processes as the business grew. SAP EWM was implemented in their new warehouse to boost efficiency, increase productivity and eliminate errors associate with paper based processes.

The Challenge: Twinings needed a replacement to their existing case labelling software as it was end-of-life. The software was used at their UK, Polish & Chinese production sites so any replacement had to be compatible with the demands of each site’s processes. The Solution: CodingControl connects SAP directly to all of Twinings’ case labelling machines. Now, label templates are selected, and required data is sent automatically, from SAP. Removes the need to enter any labelling data manually.
