On 26 March, the SAP community gathers in Dublin for a full day dedicated to enterprise data and what it takes to make that data ready for AI.

Data quality, governance and readiness sit at the heart of every successful SAP transformation. This event brings together data practitioners, solution architects and SAP experts to explore the foundational data capabilities that underpin AI success and S/4HANA outcomes, drawing on real-world experience from organisations who are navigating those challenges right now.

Opening keynote: The Fabric of Data & AI

The day opens with a keynote from Orla Cullen, Product Marketing Manager and Evangelist for Data & Analytics at SAP. Orla explores how the shift towards AI is demanding a fundamental rethink of how organisations manage their data and how a business data fabric can connect data and metadata across the technology landscape to keep AI grounded in a real business context.

Morning case study: SHS Group and Bluestonex

For a business as diverse and fast-growing as SHS Group, high-quality master data is fundamental, yet fragmented processes, manual interventions and the absence of formal governance were creating real operational risk. In this session, Applications Manager Jason Lecky and the Bluestonex team explain how SHS simplified its workflows, enforced business rules and embedded data governance into its operations, cutting data errors by 70%.

Three afternoon breakout streams

Delegates can choose from three focused streams in the afternoon, each addressing a distinct stage of the data journey:
  • Foundational Data for AI: Exploring what AI-ready data really means, from semantic architecture and intelligent discovery to governance that scales with AI adoption
  • Business Data Cloud: A practical look at SAP Business Data Cloud as a platform for enterprise modernisation, from domain-led data products to workforce planning and technical architecture
  • Transformation Journey: Examining the data risks that derail SAP programmes and the practical steps organisations can take to stay on track
Sessions are led by experts from Lemongrass Consulting, NTT DATA Business Solutions, SAP, Stratesys, Syncaip, The Config Team and Xmateria.

Closing panel: Syniti research and community discussion

The day closes with the launch of the latest UKISUG and Syniti Data Survey findings, revealing how organisations across the UK and Ireland are approaching data quality, governance, migration and historical data management in the context of S/4HANA and AI programmes. Drawing on responses from IT, data and business leaders, the panel explores where progress is being made and where data challenges are still getting in the way.

Who will find this useful?

The programme is designed for those working with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud or navigating data integration and governance challenges.
